GUARANTEE

Manufacturer's Warranty

All our bikes come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers any defects resulting from construction and/or material faults.

The warranty is only applicable to the original owner of the bicycle and is non-transferable.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:

  • Tires
  • Chains
  • Chainrings
  • Freewheels
  • Cassettes
  • Hubs
  • Cables
  • Brake pads

These parts are only covered if a construction and/or material defect is identified.

Additionally, we do not cover oxidation on bicycles, components, or fastening materials made of steel. Oxidation can be prevented by applying a clear protective coating to steel parts. If your bicycle is regularly exposed to different weather conditions, we recommend using a bicycle cover and applying a clear protective spray periodically to prevent rust formation. This will help extend the lifespan of your steel bicycle.

Important Notice

To maintain your warranty coverage, you must schedule a first service within three months of receiving your bicycle. To make a warranty claim, proof of maintenance (such as an invoice or work order) must be provided. We strongly recommend having a comprehensive service performed annually to keep your bike in optimal condition.

Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty will be void in the following cases:

  • If the product has been used improperly or carelessly, not in accordance with its intended purpose.
  • If the product has not been maintained according to the manufacturer's prescribed instructions.
  • If repairs have been performed unprofessionally or by an unauthorized specialist.
  • If non-original parts have been installed or if parts have been incorrectly assembled and do not comply with the technical specifications of the product.

IN BOX - Pre-Assembled Bicycle

If you have purchased a bike IN BOX, it means that the bicycle is 95% pre-assembled, and you will need to assemble the remaining 5% yourself. This bike also comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Before Assembling Your Bike

Before starting the assembly, it is important to inspect all parts for any paint damage. Once the bike has been assembled, we cannot cover paint damage under warranty.

Key Points to Consider When Assembling Your Bike

  • Ensure that all pre-assembled parts are securely fitted before riding. Check and tighten all bolts, screws, and nuts.
  • When installing and adjusting the wheels, check the spoke tension. Proper spoke tension helps prevent warping of the wheel. We recommend having the spoke tension checked by a professional bicycle mechanic, as we do not cover warranty claims for wheel warping on IN BOX bikes.
  • Adjusting brakes and gears requires precision. You can do this yourself by following the instructions, but we advise having a professional bicycle mechanic check your adjustments to ensure proper setup.
  • The 1-year manufacturer’s warranty also applies to these components; however, defects caused by incorrect assembly or adjustment errors are not covered.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your bicycle remains in the best possible condition and that your warranty remains valid. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
