GUARANTEE
Manufacturer's warranty
All our bikes are covered by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
The manufacturer's warranty covers all defects caused by a construction and/or material defect(s).
The warranty can only be invoked by the first owner of the product and the warranty is not transferable.
Excluded from warranty are all parts that are subject to wear and tear, such as tires, chains, chainrings, freewheels, cassettes, bodies, cables and brake pads unless there is a construction and / or material defect(s).
We do not guarantee oxidation on the bicycles, parts or fastening material that are made of steel. Oxidation formation can easily be prevented by spraying steel parts of the bicycle with a clear coating. Is your bike outside in all weather conditions? By using a bicycle cover and regularly spraying your bike with a clear coat, you prevent rusting due to weather influences. This way you can enjoy your steel bike even longer.
Please note!
To keep the warranty on your bike, you must provide it with a first service within 3 months of receiving your bike. To claim the warranty, you must be able to provide proof of maintenance (invoice, work order). We urgently advise you to provide your bike with an extensive service every year.
The warranty expires:
- if the product has been used incorrectly and/or carelessly in accordance with its intended purpose;
- When the product has not been maintained in accordance with the instructions prescribed by the manufacturer;
- When repairs have not been carried out professionally by a specialist;
- When parts have been assembled afterwards that do not correspond to the technical specification of the product in question or have been assembled incorrectly.
IN BOX
You have ordered a bike IN BOX. This means that the bike is approximately 95% pre-assembled and you will assemble about 5% yourself. You have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on a bicycle IN BOX. It is important that you check the parts for any paint damage before assembling the bike. We cannot guarantee paint damage after assembly.
What do you have to take into account when you choose to buy a bike in a box?
Please note that when mounting the bike, you must also check the already assembled parts for assembly. Check all bolts, screws and nuts to ensure that they are tightened firmly.
When mounting and adjusting both wheels, it is important to check the spoke tension. A good spoke tension contributes to preventing a stroke in the wheel.
We advise you to have your spoke tension checked by your bicycle repair shop. We do not give a guarantee with a bike ordered in a box when there is a stroke in the wheel.
Adjusting the brakes and gears is an accurate job. You can do this yourself by following the instructions or choose to have your bicycle repairman carry this out. We advise if you choose to adjust your brakes and gears yourself to have this checked by your bicycle repairman.
This way you can be sure that the brakes and gears are adjusted correctly. Of course you also have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on these parts.
Please note that defects caused by assembly or adjustment errors are not covered by the warranty.
