HOW TO FOLD
We explain here how to fold the folding bike. For a detailed explanation, we refer you to the manual of the specific type of folding bike that you have purchased or are going to buy. In general, folding bikes use two hinges. One is located in the frame, often halfway up the bar (above the pedals). If you remove this hinge from the lock, you can double-fold the bike. That way you get the two tires to stand next to each other. The second hinge is located in the steering rod. By removing this from the lock, you can fold the handlebars down. That way you get a compact 'package': the bike is folded.
Keep in mind that this is the most common way of folding. There are also bikes that have a hinge at the rear wheel, or where you can only fold the saddle and handlebars inside. This last way of folding is not very nice, since the folded bike still takes up a lot of space. Nowadays, the folding of the bike speaks more and more for itself, as manufacturers want tomake it as easy as possible for you.
Again: read the manual of the folding bike carefully.
